Distribution ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 ). A micro-endemic species of the Moroccan Rif. It is known only from four localities in the Rif: in the region between Ketama and Bab Berred at 1520 m, near the coast Imaziten 320 m ( Sánchez-Ortega & Azzouz 1998), between Ketama and Bab Bissen at 1600 m and Mount Tidirhine between 1500 and 1900 m (Errochdi et al. 2014).
Ecology. Larvae are crenophilic occurring primarily in springs and brooklets, and are detritivores. Adult emergence period is in the cold season, from autumn to spring (XI–VII).
