Austropandalus grayi (Cunningham, 1871) View in CoL
Occurs in the southeastern Pacific from northwestern Peru to the Straits of Magellan, as well as in the southern Atlantic from Cabo Frio ( Brazil) southwards to Patagonia and Falkland Islands, ( Holthuis 1952; Boschi et al. 1981, 1992; Arntz et al. 1999; Thatje & Bacardit 2000c); benthic, 5– 225 m. Although Basher & Costello (2014) consider the species to occur south of the Antarctic Polar Front, all records cited therein are sub-Antarctic. Synonym: Pandalus paucidens Miers, 1881 .
