Odontophotopsis (Odontophotopsis) lamellifera Schuster, 1958 . Ent. Amer. (n. s.) 37: 56. male. Holotype: Arizona, Gila Co., Globe View in CoL , 31.Jul.1935, F.H. Parker (UMSP).

Diagnosis. This species has a mandible that is slightly dilated apically with a complete dorsal carina that does not project anteriorly ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 69 – 79 ) and has the posterior margin of the head subtriangular in outline, but lacks both a denticle on the antennal tubercle and a carina connecting the mesosternal processes. The genitalia are as in Figs. 75 and 76 View FIGURES 69 – 79 .

Distribution. Known from the Chihuahuan Desert, eastern Sonoran Desert, and Colorado River into the Grand Canyon.
