Type material. Holotype, ♂ ( ZDEU) and paratypes (1♂, 1♀ in ZIN and 2♀♀ in ZDEU): Turkey, Konya Province, Kartal Dağı, Hadim District, Küplüce , 36°59′081″ N 32°43′ 102″E, 1688 m, 16.v.2009, leg. M.V. and S.V. Nabozhenko, B. Keskin .

Bionomics. Imagoes are active at night (21:00–22:00) and feed on lichens on trunks of old Juniperus excelsa .

Description, male. Body length 7.6–8 mm, width 3.1–3.3 mm. Body robust, brown, moderately shining, completely covered with short recumbent setae. Head widest at level of the eyes. Eyes large, convex. Ratio of head width at eyes to distance between eyes: 1.57. Anterior margin of clypeus weakly widely emarginated. Genae strongly rounded in base and very weakly rounded in anterior part; outer margin of head between gena and clypeus with distinct obtuse emargination. Punctation of head coarse and dense, punctures round, their diameter 2 × as long as distance between them. Head covered with short recumbent yellowish hairs (lateral view). Antennae moderately long (reaching 1/4 of elytral length), with 3 apical antennomeres extending beyond base of pronotum. Pronotum transverse (1.25 × as wide as long), widest before middle, 1.5 × as wide as head, completely covered with short recumbent setae (lateral view). Lateral margins weakly rounded, corrugated, weakly sinuate basally. Anterior margin weakly rounded or straight, base widely rounded, bisinuate. Anterior angles weakly projected, obtuse with widely rounded apex; posterior angles right, with distinct apex. Lateral margins narrowly beaded, anterior margin and base with wider and more flattened bead. Disc convex, narrowly flattened on outer margins. Punctation of disc coarse and dense, the same as on head. Hypomera with flattened outer margins, finely rugose. Elytra oval (1.55 × as long as wide), widest at middle, 2.5 × as long and 1.3 × as wide as pronotum, 1.9 × as wide as head. Strial punctures elongate, merged in narrow furrows on elytral apex. Elytral intervals flat, covered with short recumbent setae, their punctation fine and sparse; intervals with small sparse distinct tubercles on apex; 5th and 7th intervals with tubercles on all length. Epipleural carinae wide (completely visible dorsally), reaching sutural angles of elytra; epipleura with inner narrow carinae reaching elytral apex. Lateral margins of elytra not sinuate apically. Ventral side of body pubescent with short recumbent hairs. Abdominal ventrites with fine and dense punctation; ventrite 1 without hair brush; ventrite 5 with weak round depression apically, completely beaded on apex. Legs comparatively short, tibiae straight. Inner side of femora densely pubescent and punctate in basal half. Pro- and mesotibiae with 4 large teeth and small granules; metatibiae with weak thickening on inner side and small teeth. Trochanters with single long setae.

Description, female. Body length 8.5 mm, width 3.7 mm. Body more robust. Antennae shorter, with 2 apical antennomeres extended beyond posterior margin of pronotum, reaching 1/7 of elytral length. Pronotum more transverse (1.3 × as wide as long).

Etymology. Named in honour of our colleague and friend Ersen Aydın Yağmur (Celal Bayar University), one of the collectors of the type series.

Bionomics. The species was found on high altitudes (2300 m) in June and November under stones near snow.

Diagnosis. The species is similar to O. nasreddini , but differs by its completely setose body and beaded abdominal ventrite 5. The new species differs from other species of O. anatolica species-group by its small and setose body.
