Host/Habitat. Apis cerana (Asian honey bee), Apis mellifera (Western honey bee). Distribution. Yuci ( Zhou et al. 2004).
Remarks. The Varroa mite in China had long been known as Varroa jacobsoni Oudemans. Zhou et al. (2004) clarified that there was only one species V. destructor present in China.
