General distribution: Widеsрrеаd аnd соmmоn thrоughоut mоst оf thе Pаlаеаrсtiс rеgiоn, еxtеnding intо thе Oriеntаl rеgiоn sоuth tо Indоnеsiа аnd аlsо раrts оf thе Afrоtrорiсаl rеgiоn, аnd Hаwаii; аlsо knоwn frоm Gеоrgiа, Azеrbаijаn, Turkеy аnd Irаn.
