Diagnosis: Shelltiny, ovate- conoidwithshoulderedwhorls, umbilicus narrow, tubaprotruding, sixrobustteeth (1 parietal, 1 angular, 2 palatal, 2 columellar).

Description: Shellminute, ovate, veryfragile, lightgreywithspireconvexlyconicwith obtuseapex; protoconchrecessedtotherightatantepenultimatewhorl; nuclearwhorlbe- ginswithapatternofgranulosewrinkles, mergingintoapatternofdense, shallowpits; the 4.5 convex, unevenlyincreasingwhorlsareseparatedbyadeepsuture; teleoconchsculpture finelyretiformwithraisedequidistantly- spacedspiralthreads; smallaperturepiriform; six prominent, deeplysetdenticlesformrobustbarriers; parietaldenticleslightlycontortedand aligneddirectlyoppositethedeeper- set, palataldenticle; angulardenticleslantstotheright; bodywhorlthick; apertureobliquetoshellaxis; tubaendofbodywhorldetachedandpro- jectingslightlydownwardpastpenultimatewhorl (lateralview); tubadeflectstotherightof theumbilicus; umbilicalzonefaintlyreticulate; umbilicusnarrowanddeep.

Etymology: ThespecificepithetderivesfromtheHungarianword “mákszem” (poppy seed), referring to the tiny shell. This name is to be used as a noun in apposition.
