Redescription: Male stridulatory file step-like, with about 46 distinct and numerous indistinct stridulatory teeth (Plate 2b).

Distribution: Ethiopian, Oriental, Australasian, and partly Palaearctic regions ( Ragge 1956; Huang 2004).
