Redescription: Male stridulatory file sinuate, with about 40 distinct widely spaced stridulatory teeth, which are becoming larger mediad (Plate 2b).

Distribution: This species is distributed from central and southern Europe across central Asia to China (including Taiwan Island) and Japan ( Ragge 1956; Huang 2004).
