Hoplomegistidae View in CoL is a small family with one genus and seven species, of which four species are associated with Passalidae View in CoL ( Turk 1948; Hyatt 1964; Flechtmann 1981; Zhang et al. 2017a). Four species were collected from Passalidae View in CoL : Stenosternum bicrinus (Berlese, 1918) from Passalus punctiger Lepeletier and Serville, 1825 View in CoL and S. bifurcata Zhang, Yi, Guo and Jin, 2017 , S. cordata Zhang, Yi, Guo and Jin, 2017 and S. truittae (Baker and Hunter, 1986) . All other species were from unidentified Passalidae View in CoL ( Tables 2 View Table 2 , 4, 5 View Table 5 and 8).
