Distribution: Palaearctic. Austria, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia.

Host: Diptera . Agromyzidae : Agromyza albipennis Meigen, 1830 [ Phalaris arundinacea ]; A. ambigua Fallén, 1823 [ Secale cereale ]; A. graminicola Hendel, 1931 [ Phragmites australis , Phragmites communis ]; A. lucida Hendel, 1920 [ Deschampsia cespitosa ]; A. nigrella (Rondani, 1875) [ Triticum ]; A. reptans Fallén, 1823 [ Urtica dioica ]; Cerodontha denticornis (Panzer, 1806) [ Holcus lanatus ].
