The species was well illustrated by Huang (1997, 2003), according to palpi, wing pattern and male genitalia, it is similar to I. fujianana , but can be easily separated from the latter by hindwing underside dark brown, almost uumarked, valva with the ampullar and harpal processes widely separated at apex, the harpe with outer margin straight bearing a small spines centrally and well pointed apically. So, the species definitely belongs to Idmon View in CoL .
