Genus Scelimena Serville, 1838 View in CoL
Type species: Scelimena producta Serville, 1838 , by monotypy.
Composition. The genus consists of 21 species distributed in India , Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines ( Eades et al., 2015); two of them were recorded from Thailand. One new species is described below.
Notes. In the original description of Scelimena only one species was included in the genus ( Serville, 1838), therefore according to Article 68.3 of the Code of Zoological Nomenclature ( ICZN, 1999) the type species of this genus is S. producta by monotypy.
