Material examined. Thailand: Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Karat, Nong Bun Nak, 2 August 2009, 1 male, 1 female, coll. V.G. Bezborodov; the same locality, 31 July 2009, 1 male, coll. V.G. Bezborodov; Phrae Province, 70 km S of Lampang, 390 m, 21–22 August 2009, 1 male, coll. V.G. Bezborodov ( ZISP).
Distribution. Pakistan, India , Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia (Java, Sulawesi), China, Taiwan (Shishodia, 1991). This species was firstly recorded from Thailand by Rehn (1904).
Notes. Sometimes the date of the original description of this species is given as 1842 ( Eades et al., 2015), but Haan’s work was published in five parts from 1842 to 1844 (Haan, 1842–1844), each with its own date ( Ingrisch & Willemce, 2004). The part with description of Acridium (Tetrix) gracilis was actually published in 1843.
