Material examined. Station 49, 23 -v-2013, 1 ♂, 30-xi-2013, 1♂; station 25, 20 -viii-2013, 1 ♂. Comments. This species is recorded as new for Tunisia. The specimens were collected in sand at edge of slow flowing areas of rivers and at altitudes near sea-level.
Distribution. Palearctic Region, reaching from Great Britain and Morocco to Iran, Central Asia, Northwestern China (Xinjiang), and East Siberia (Polhemus 1995; Fent et al. 2011, Aukema et al. 2013). New record for Tunisia
