Comments: According to Thomas (1985), some of the early records of this species are under the synonymic name Chlorocoris usitatus Distant , and some of the early references to Chlorocoris subrugosus are misidentifications and should be transferred to Chlorocoris loxoides Thomas , known from Mexico.
