Pentatominae : Pentatomini

This tribe is recognized as one of several that have the base of the abdominal venter produced foward as a small spine or tubercle (see Rider et al. 2018 for more detailed discussion). The genera included below appear superficially to have little in common with the type genus, Pentatoma Olivier , but they are included here until further phylogenetic studies can more accurately place them.
