Bagrada hilaris ( Burmeister, 1835)

Distribution: United States: AZ ( Palumbo & Natwick 2010), CA ( Palumbo & Natwick 2010), FL [interception] ( Halbert 2014), NV ( Lambert & Dudley 2014), NM (Bundy 2012, Bundy et al. 2012), TX ( Reed et al. 2013), UT ( Reed et al. 2013). (Old World and recently found in Hawaii [ Matsunaga et al. 2019] and Chile, South America [ Faúndez et al. 2016]).

Comments: This Old World species was only recently discovered in North America, so it was not included by Froeschner (1988). This species has been intercepted several times in Florida ( Halbert 2014), but it is unclear if it has become established there.
