Biology. This species has been observed by citizen scientists visiting A. aurea , F. magellanicus , Junellia spathulate (Gillies & Hook.) Moldenke , and the exotic Raphanus raphanistrum Linneus , Dianthaus chinensis Linneus , T. officinale , Hebe sp. and Ranunculus sp. Additionally, Devoto & Medan (2006) also recorded this species visiting Escallonia virgata (Ruiz et Pavón) Persoon.
