Distribution: Venezuela and Brazil.
The original description of the genera and examination of the holotype photo of the Elaterosoma longissimum Tippmann, 1953 ( Lingafelter et al., 2010) and specimens of the MNRJ and MNHN collections allow us to propose the new synonymy.
