Distribution: Philippines, Malay Archipelago, Queensland, Torres strats, Northern and Western Australian coast, coast of Victoria, China Sea, Zanzibar and East Africa

Description: Colony (8 x 5mm) branching dichotomously and irregularly. Branches up to 2mm wide, comprising ca. 10–13 longitudinal series of autozooids on each side of the branch. Autozooids (0.35–0.44 x 0.17–0.20mm) hexagonal, convex, separated by fine grooves, calcification finely granular, with 8–13 conspicuous pores developing a proximal frontal umbo. Primary orifice as wide as long, or slightly wider than long with a shallow Ushaped sinus and conspicuous condyles. Secondary orifice (0.06–0.06 x 0.07–0.08mm) transversely oval, surmounting a low peristome, with denticles on proximal side. Spiramen small, oval, situated close to proximal border of peristome. Peristomial avicularia single or paired, situated on either side lateral to spiramen and directed distally to distomedially. Additional frontal avicularia (0.03–0.05 x 0.08–0.10), most typically a single, infrequently paired, directed proximomedially. Spiramen (0.03–0.04 x 0.03–0.05mm) transversely elongate. Vicarious avicularia present at branch bifurcations, intercalated within autozooid rows, mandible elongate and distinctly spatulate, up to 0.47mm long. Mandibles varying from blunt triangular to elongate spatulate.
