Oecetis iguazu is widely distributed in the southern portion of South America, being currently reported from Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. In Brazil, it is recorded from Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo states in the southeastern region, and Santa Catarina state in southern Brazil. Herein, we also record this species for Paraná state, southern Brazil.
Material examined. BRAZIL: Paraná: Céu Azul, Parque Nacional do Iguaçu, Rio Manoel Gomes, 25°09’39.40”S, 53°49’45.90”W, 498 m, 06.ix.2012, light trap, A.L.H. Oliveira & B. Clarkson leg., 1 male ( DZRJ 3587).
