Genus Neelides Caroli, 1912
Diagnosis. Dermastra present. Labrum without anterior process. Ant. III and IV separate. Trunk with 20 + 20 τchaetae, 3 + 3 tubular s-chaetae (s1, s4, s5) and 4 + 4 bean-shaped s-chaetae (s2, s3, s3’, s3"). Reduced sensory fields without special inner chaetae. Abd. IV sternum with 4–5 pairs of neosminthuroid chaetae. Manubrium with 1 + 1 neosminthuroid chaetae and distal articular process with concave tip. Dens without median articular process. Unguis with Bp as a small internal tooth. Tenaculum with 2 + 2 teeth.
