TL: Germany ( ambiguella ); India, Assam, Khasi Hills ( turbinaris ).
Distribution: India (Meghalaya); China; Japan; Korea; Malaysia; Mongolia; Nepal; Russia; Sabah; Thailand; Europe ( Razowski 2002).
Hosts: This notorious pest of grapes feeds on a wide variety of plants, including Acer campestre (Aceraceae) , Eleutherococcus sp., Hedera helix (Araliaceae) , Lonicera spp., Viburnum sp. ( Caprifoliaceae ), Cornus mas (Cornaceae) , Cuscuta reflexa (Cuscutaceae) , Ribes sp. ( Saxifragaceae ), Ligustrum sp. ( Oleaceae ), Frangula alnus (Rhamnaceae) , and Vitis vinifera (Vitaceae) ( Razowski 1970; Bradley et al. 1973; Kawabe 1982; Kuznetzov 1978).
