TL: Ceylon [= Sri Lanka], Maskeliya.
Distribution: India (Punjab, Uttarakhand, West Bengal); China; Mauritius; Sri Lanka; Africa ( Ghana) ( Diakonoff 1982; Zhang & Li 2005; Koçak & Kemal 2012).
Hosts: This species is polyphagous, with records from Mangifera indica (Anacardiaceae) , Coriaria nepalensis (Coriariaceae) , Woodfordia fruticosa (Lythraceae) , Eucalyptus alba , Eucalyptus grandis , Eucalyptus robusta , Lophostemon confertus, Nelaleuca cajuputi, Psidium guajava , and Syzygium cumini (Myrtaceae) ( Meyrick 1910, 1912, 1927; Fletcher 1932; Diakonoff 1982; Wen & Lee 1985; Rose & Pooni 2005; Sidhu et al. 2008).
