Distribution: India ( Karnataka , Punjab, Uttarakhand, West Bengal); Indonesia (Java, Sumatra); Malaysia; Philippine Islands; Sri Lanka; Vietnam ( Clarke 1976; Diakonoff 1968; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).
Host: Reported host plants include Funtumia elastica (Apocynaceae) , Pogostemon cablin (Lamiaceae) , Brownea sp. ( Fabaceae ), Althaea sp. ( Malvaceae ), Eugenia aquea , Eugenia densiflora , Eugenia jambos , Eugenia malaccensis , Syzygium cumini (Myrtaceae) , Nephelium lappaceum (Sapindaceae) , and Solanum melongena (Solanaceae) (Meyrick 1927; Fletcher 1932; Diakonoff 1968; Clarke 1976; Robinson et al. 2001).
