HOLOTYPE: AMNH 688081 About AMNH , collected at Cape Engaño , 18.35N, 122.08E ( Dickinson et al. 1991: 419), Cagayan Province, northern Luzon Island , Philippines, on 19 April 1895, by John Whitehead (no. A.245). From the Rothschild Collection. GoogleMaps

COMMENTS: Parkes cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description and noted that he examined five specimens from Cagayan Province and three from Ilocos Norte Province. Of the seven paratypes, three are in AMNH: AMNH 688082, 688083, females from Cape Engaño, and AMNH 768042, female, from San Mariano.
