TIERRA DEL FUEGO: Cabo de Hornos ( Ellingsen 1905a; Ceballos & Rosso de Ferradás 2008a).
Further distribution. This Palaearctic species is synanthropic, and has been spread worldwide by human activity (see Harvey 2009). Its occurrence in Chile, south Argentina and Brazil may be considered as the result of introductions, probably during colonial times. This species has not been recorded from Argentina since Ellingsen (1905).
