Type material. Holotype, M.2., illustrated in Strausz (1959: pl. 2, figs 5–6), Mining and Geological Survey of Hungary (Budapest).
Type locality. Várpalota ( Hungary) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Badenian.
Discussion. This taxon represents a morph of Theodisca theodisca with reduced central spiral cord and prominent beads on the adsutural spiral cord. It was described by Strausz (1959) from Várpalota ( Hungary), where it co-occurs with various other morphs of T. theodisca .
Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Pannonian Basin: Várpalota ( Hungary) ( Strausz 1966).
