Type material. Holotype (no number), SL: 22.5 mm, MD: 10 mm, Earth Science Museum at Moscow State University (The Museum of Natural History).
Type locality. Naftalan ( Azerbaijan)
Stratigraphy. Late Pliocene/Pleistocene, Akchagylian.
Discussion. This taxon represents a morph of Potamides caspius with delicate beads.
