see Potamides disjunctus (J. de C. Sowerby, 1832) View in CoL
* Cerithium View in CoL ( Sandbergeria View in CoL ?) turrilitiforme n.f.— Simionescu & Barbu 1940: 101, pl. 2, fig. 24.
Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens. Simionescu & Barbu (1940: 101) stated that the type is stored in the collection of Ştefănescu.
Type locality. Tomeşti ( Romania) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).
Discussion. Simionescu & Barbu (1940) present a slab of rock with several specimens, characterized by slender shells and with a higher number of teleoconch whorls (about 15 whorls) than typical P. disjunctus . The weak sculpture might result from abrasion.
Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Moldavian Platform: Tomeşti ( Romania) ( Simionescu & Barbu 1940).
