Type material. Holotype, Natural History Museum (London, UK), illustrated in Sowerby (1832: pl. 39, fig. 13).
Type locality. Hartberg ( Austria) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).
Discussion. The specimen might represent an aberrant Potamides disjunctus ( Sowerby, 1832) with strongly reduced sculpture.
Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Styrian Basin: Hartberg ( Austria) (J. de C. Sowerby 1832).
