Cerithium turritella — Deshayes 1835: 322.

Discussion. The name was used by Antoni Lukianowicz Andrzejowski (1785–1868) on a label of material, which he had sent to Ami Boué (1794–1881). This material was revised by Deshayes (1835), who listed Cerithium turritella as synonym of Cerithum pictum de Basterot, 1825 .

Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Polish-Ukrainian Fore-Carpathian Basin: no certain locality was given by Deshayes (1835), who referred to “ Volhynia ” ( Ukraine).
