Type material. ZNG PAN A-I-50/656, SL: 16.3 mm, MD: 5.5 mm, lectotype of Potamides bicostatus unicostata Friedberg, 1914 , stored in the Geological Museum of the Institute of Geological Sciences , Polish Academy of Sciences, Kraków ( Poland) .

Type locality. Glibiv ( Ukraine) .

Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).

Discussion. An aberrant morph of Tiaracerithium pictum with a single spiral row of small beads placed slightly below the adapical suture.

Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Glibiv (Ternopil Region, Ukraine) ( Friedberg 1914).
