Type material. Holotype, stored in the National Museum of Geology of Romania (Bucharest), illustrated in Jekelius (1944: pl. 21, fig. 21).
Type locality. Soceni ( Romania) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).
Discussion. A morph of Potamides disjunctus with strongly convex whorl and weak beads.
Distribution. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Transylvanian Basin: Soceni ( Romania) ( Jekelius 1944). Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Mehadia Basin: Balea Tudoroviţei ( Romania) (Hinculov in Iliescu et al. 1968).
