Type material. Lectotype designated herein: specimen illustrated in Ali-Zade (1954: pl. 12, fig. 28), no size given. Museum at Moscow State University ( The Museum of Natural History ).
Type locality. Taribani Steppe area ( Georgia)
Stratigraphy. Late Pliocene/Pleistocene, Akchagylian.
Discussion. This taxon represents a morph of Theodisca azerbajdjanica (K.A. Ali-Zade, 1940) with smooth late teleoconch whorls.
Eastern Paratethys. Akchagylian (Late Pliocene/Pleistocene): Caspian Basin: Nazarlebi Mountains, Taribani Steppe area ( Georgia) ( Ali-Zade 1954).
