Type material. Holotype. NHMW 1999z0004/0003, SL: 47.5 mm, MD: 14.7 mm, Natural History Museum Vienna ( Austria), Early Miocene, Eggenburgian, illustrated in Schaffer (1912: pl. 52, fig. 9).
Type locality. Gauderndorf ( Austria) .
Stratigraphy. Early Miocene, Eggenburgian.
Discussion. This species is based on an aberrant shell of Terebralia duboisi ( Ĥrnes, 1855) .
Central Paratethys. Eggenburgian (Early Miocene): North Alpine Foreland Basin: Gauderndorf ( Austria) ( Schaffer 1912).
