* Cerithium (Granulolabium) plicatum Brug. var. quinquenodosa Schff. — Schaffer 1912: 153, pl. 51, figs 44–45.
Type material. Lectotype designated herein: NHMW 1912/0001/0015, SL: 34.9 mm, MD: 11.0 mm, Natural History Museum Vienna ( Austria), Early Miocene, Eggenburgian, illustrated in Schaffer (1912: pl. 51, fig. 45).
Type locality. Nonndorf ( Austria) .
Stratigraphy. Early Miocene, Eggenburgian.
Discussion. The type specimens represent morphs of Granulolabium plicatum with five predominant spiral cords. These co-occur at the type locality along with typical G. plicatum and there is little reason to treat these shells as distinct taxon.
Central Paratethys. Eggenburgian (Early Miocene): North Alpine Foreland Basin: Nonndorf ( Austria); Borod Basin: Valea Cetea ( Romania) ( Moisescu 1992a).
