Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens.
Type locality. Not defined; described from Bazga , Bohotin, Răducăneni ( Romania) .
Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).
Discussion. This species is based on a dwarf specimen of Potamides disjunctus (J. de C. Sowerby, 1832) .
Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Moldavian Platform: Bazga, Bohotin, Răducăneni ( Romania) ( Simionescu & Barbu 1940).
