Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens.
Type locality. Porcani , Şoldăneşti ( Moldova) .
Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).
Discussion. This taxon is based on a morph of Potamides disjunctus (J. de C. Sowerby, 1832) with convex whorls and fifth spiral cord.
Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Moldavian Platform: Porcani, Şoldăneşti ( Moldova) ( Simionescu & Barbu 1940).
