Type material. Holotype M17, illustrated in Strausz (1955a: pl. 5, fig. 64), SL: 21 mm, MD: 6 mm, Mining and Geological Survey of Hungary (Budapest).
Type locality. Várpalota ( Hungary) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Badenian.
Discussion. This species represents aberrant morphs of T. tabulata (Ĥrnes, 1856) with extremely slender shells and high whorls.
Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Pannonian Basin: Várpalota ( Hungary).
