Type locality. Absdorf at Svitavy ( Czech Republic) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).
Discussion. Quenstedt (1884) united various morphs of Tiaracerithium pictum in this taxon, ranging from stocky shells with reduced sculpture (figs 87, 90) to slender shells with several beaded spiral cords (fig. 91).
Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): North Alpine Foreland Basin: Absdorf at Svitavy ( Czech Republic) (Quenstedt 1884).
