Type material. Lectotype designated herein: M.60.4789, illustrated in Szalai (1926: 343, text-figs 2a–b), Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest).

Type locality. Szabó sand pit, Várpalota ( Hungary) .

Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Badenian.

Discussion. See Lampanella obliquistoma ( Seguenza, 1880) .
