Type material. Holotype M114, illustrated in Strausz (1955: pl. 5, fig. 78), SL: 18.5 mm, MD: 7.2 mm, Mining and Geological Survey of Hungary (Budapest).
Type locality. Várpalota ( Hungary) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Badenian.
Discussion. This taxon is based on slender specimens of T. tabulata (Ĥrnes, 1856) with strongly reduced beads and weak spiral cords.
Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Pannonian Basin: Herend–Márkó, Várpalota ( Hungary) ( Strausz 1966).
