Type material. Holotype, illustrated in Papp (1952: pl. 2, figs 29). We are not aware of the whereabouts of the holotype.
Type locality. Niederkreuzstetten ( Austria) .
Stratigraphy. Early Miocene, Karpatian.
Discussion. This species represents a very slender morph of Tiarapirenella bicincta ( Brocchi, 1814) and co-occurs with typical specimens.
Central Paratethys. Karpatian (Early Miocene): Korneuburg Basin: Niederkreuzstetten, Ŗckersdorf ( Austria) ( Papp 1952).
