Type material. Lectotype designated herein: specimen illustrated in Karlov (1932: pl. 1, fig. 19), size not given, SL about 15 mm; National Mining University , Dnipro ( Ukraine).

Type locality. Kerch peninsula.

Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, early Maeotian.

Discussion. This species is based on a color-variety of Lampanella maeotica with dots in the spiral grooves.

Eastern Paratethys. Early Maeotian (Late Miocene): Crimea: Kerch peninsula.
