Type material. The holotype was stored in the Paleontological Institute of the University Graz ( Austria) but is lost .
Type locality. Oisnitz ( Austria) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Badenian.
Discussion. The holotype is a pathologic specimen with slender outline and strongly incised suture. The high last whorl and the blunt sculpture place the specimen in Terebralia lignitarum ( Eichwald, 1830) .
Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Styrian Basin: Oisnitz ( Austria) ( Hoernes 1901).
