Discussion. Within the moderately preserved specimens from Pielach ( Austria), Fuchs (1868) misidentified a specimen of Granulolabium plicatum (Bruguière, 1792) with the Eocene Cerithium elegans Deshayes, 1824 .

Central Paratethys. Egerian (late Oligocene/Early Miocene): Pielach ( Austria) ( Fuchs 1868).
