Type material. Holotype: specimen illustrated by Simionescu & Barbu (1940: pl. 1, fig. 28). We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens.
Type locality. Bohotin ( Romania) .
Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).
Discussion. The holotype represents a slender morph of Potamides disjunctus (J. de C. Sowerby, 1832) with subcylindrical whorls, incised suture, and axial ribs, resulting in a shell, which is reminiscent of Granulolabium plicatum (Bruguière, 1792) .
Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Moldavian Platform: Bohotin ( Romania) ( Simionescu & Barbu 1940).
