Type locality. Naftalan ( Azerbaijan) .

Stratigraphy. Late Pliocene/Pleistocene, Akchagylian.

Discussion. The only available specimen represents a stout spire fragment of Potamides caspius with weak sculpture.

Eastern Paratethys. Akchagylian (Late Pliocene/Pleistocene): Caspian Basin: Naftalan ( Azerbaijan) ( Ali-Zade 1969).
